Our philosophy is to strive to be leaders in our industry providing palliative hospice care delivered with compassion, dignity and respect.  Palliative hospice care is care of patients whose disease is not responsive to curative treatment.  Control of pain, of other symptoms, and of psychological, social and spiritual issues are constantly monitored by Blue Sky Hospice, Inc.

The goal of our care is to achieve maximum quality of life for patients and those important to them.

We believe that palliative hospice care is part of the process of life and regards dying as a normal part of life.  We will neither hasten death nor prolong life.  Our team will integrate the psychological and spiritual aspect of care, offering support to families to help them cope during the patient’s illness as well as the family/friends bereavement.

Services

Skilled Nursing:

Registered and Licensed Professional Nurses on staff twenty-four hours daily for consultation, education, scheduled and urgent visits to patient’s homes.

Medical Professional:

Licensed Physicians available for staff consult twenty-four hours daily.

Therapy Services:         Occupational/Physical Therapists available if needed.

Dietary Services:

Available as needed.

Home Health Aide/Nursing Technician Services:

Available as a scheduled service.

Social Services:

Licensed Counselor and Social Worker on staff as part of the multidisciplinary team to talk and provide assistance with social service, bereavement issues.

Chaplin Services:

Regardless of religion Blue Sky Hospice is here to provide support.

Child Life Specialist Services:

Available for families with children in the household.

Volunteer Services:

Available for Blue Sky Hospice patients.
